Professional attitude

My attraction to computer world started by meeting linux during my university times in 1995. Linux was the OS I was looking for, still shell scripting (bash) is one of my top programming skills.

In parallel to Linux I learned C which I have been using since then. Then I learned C++ in Alcatel-Lucent Istanbul. Nokia acquired Alcatel-Lucent and I mastered my C++ also still C and Python, in Nokia’s Antwerp office for 3.5 years. There I worked for a firmware running on threadx (real-time OS) which was in close contact with hardware such as FPGA later ASIC controlling the laser and other hardware like i2c bus/devices etc. I also could find a chance to work on kernel modules there.

Having that history evolving to embedded linux engineering I started to work as a consultant for Mind since 2020. Since then I have been working for various clients on various projects. I am happy to carry my knowledge and experience to clients and still learn their methodology and techniques developing embedded systems. I have to admit here that I am a quick learner.

I am mastering my open source skills with diverse teams learning how differently they benefit from the same tools which makes me extremely happy. I also meet a lot of new colleagues and build good communication bonds with them.

My top programming languages are C, C++, bash and Python. Still I am interested in learning new programming languages, tools, all layers related with embedded systems from bottom to top like kernel development to cloud or any upcoming technologies like Rust or AI. This is a journey keeping me up to date which I love to be in.
