For one of our main clients in West Flanders we are looking for an Embedded engineer with good experience with Linux kernel and buildroot.

• Start date: May-June
• Hybrid policy: 2-3 days per week onsite in Kortrijk Belgium

Project duration: initial 6 months with most likely extension

Key skills:

• Linux kernel
• Buildroot
• Hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, PCIe, *MII, etc.)
• Nice to have: C++, CMake

What you will do:

• Upgrade existing customized Linux kernels for custom boards
• Integrate customized kernels into buildroot
• Debug (network) driver issues
• Custom board bring-up (u-boot, device tree, secure boot, etc.)
• Validate correct operation of hardware interfaces
