Trends Gazelles nomination

Our fast growth track beyond the Belgian market is one of the main reason why Mind, as division being part of Essensium was nominated once again in the
province of Flemish Brabant for the 2023 edition of Trends magazine.

Mind as embedded software development & consulting division of Essensium won 40+ projects and the business has been expanding rapidly in 2022!

Every year the editors of Belgium-based Trends Magazine select a series of “Trends Gazelles”.  Gazelles are fast-growing companies and can be seen as the backbone of the Belgian economic landscape.
According to the editors, Gazelles are: “ seen as competitive companies having a positive influence on the business climate in the region they are located in and are considered an inspiring role model for other companies”.

This is also the main reason why Essensium (incl. its Mind division) was nominated once again in the province of Flemish Brabant for the 2023 edition. Mind as a autonomous division won 40+ projects and the business has been expanding rapidly.  This contributed substantially to the growth of Essensium as an organisation (e.g. increase in revenue as well as increase in embedded engineers).

Essensium was nominated “Trends Gazelles” for the first time in 2022 and achieve the 68th position in their ranking. This year Essensium obtained position 41 in the list which is a great achievement and progress!

The title is awarded on the basis of three objective and quantified criteria, that are evaluated on a five-year basis: value added growth, employee growth and cash flow growth.

After this event in Brussels area on Wednesday March 9, more identical events will be held in each of the Belgian provinces between today and 27 April, 2023.

Three Gazelles are typically nominated at each of these events, in the ‘Small
Businesses’, ‘Medium Businesses’ and ‘Large Businesses’ categories respectively. The group of local winners will be narrowed down to two companies; one from Wallonia and the other from Flanders.
This winner will be awarded the title of national Trends Gazelles Ambassador on 4 May.
