Linux and eCos ported to Virtex-4 FX and Virtex-II Pro

Mind has ported Linux (plus RedBoot) and eCos to the Xilinx Virtex-4 FX ML403 and Virtex-II Pro ML300 boards.

The demo Virtex-4 FX ML403 System Design was based on the standard reference design and built with support of the "Vlaamse Adviesdienst" using an EDK 6.3 tool chain.

Quite some work happened to get gigabit throughput on the Xilinx hard TEMAC (10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC in Virtex 4 FX) using DMA for faster transfer of data. This work was partially sponsored by the Flemish IWT institute.
